About Invicta

Invicta Sharks were formed approximately 32 years ago and were then based in Maidston, Kent. Nowadays their base of operation is closeby in the Medway Towns and they train in Greenacre School in Walderslade.

Invicta are one of the longest established Kent korfball clubs and have enjoyed a successful playing career in local and national korfball competitions for more than 30 years. Although originating in Maidstone - the Sharks are now mainly based in the Medway Towns, drawing members from a wide radius.

Korfball is one of the few competitive sports where male and female players, young and young-at-heart can enjoy a highly exciting non-contact sport for recreation, local or national league competition. Korfball is a true family sport and it's very common for all family members to become actively involved, albeit in different teams!

The club are actively involved in korfball at all levels and have teams playing in the Kent korfball league as well as at a national level.
